Day 5: SHOW YOUR POWER, O LORD!

“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.” (John 14.12)

“Yes, again and again they tempted God,
And limited the Holy One of Israel.
They did not remember His power:
The day when He redeemed them from the enemy” (Psalm 78.41-42)

“And these signs will follow those who believe in My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” (Mark 16:17-18)

Dear Lord we confess today that we have limited Your power by our low expectations, by our natural minds, traditional thinking and wrong teaching. Thank You for sending the Holy Spirit to lead us into all truth and to show us all that Jesus has won for us.

Pour out on Your Body, the church a fresh anointing to do the works that You did. Show Your glorified power as we proclaim Your full gospel of grace, mercy and blessing that is ours through the victory( success) of the Cross. Thank YOU Lord for doing more than enough through Your death, burial, resurrection and Ascension. Anoint Your Body afresh with the ability to manifest Your victory in every area of our lives even in difficult times.

Restore to every section of Your church the full power of Your Spirit, including the ministry of healing, speaking in tongues (prayer language) and expelling tormenting spirits. We ask that this will become a normal part of every Christian’s experience and no longer be seen as something strange, unusual or limited to any one section of Your Body.

Release Your revelation, Your supernatural activity, Your signs and wonders. Supernaturally direct our steps so that the world may see, believe and be helped by Your miraculous works of mercy flowing from Your people.

Holy Spirit manifest the power of Your presence whenever and wherever we meet to proclaim the gospel. We pray the manifestations of Your Spirit such as prophecy tongues, words of knowledge, healing and miracles will become a normal part of every church.

Forgive us, and the entire Body of Christ from limiting Your power and restore the full demonstration of Your mighty works to Your entire Church worldwide this Pentecost 2020.
